Salt and Pepper Mills
Salt and Pepper shakers have long been used in kitchens and at dinner tables. Those were all useful but freshly ground straight from the mill is by far better. These mills are meant for everyday use and they definitely add a design element to the table for a polished look.
The grinding function is very smooth for that perfect experience. They are also very easy to re-fill by just pulling the ceramic top off and pouring in your course salt or peppercorns. The ridges on the ceramic allow you to easily grip and twist. The white oak base has a silky finish to protect it from greasy fingers. The coarseness can be adjusted from the underside of the mill by easily turning the “gear.”
Sold separately. The white is generally used for salt and the anthracite used for pepper. However, if you only have a need for one, use either color.
Top: Ceramic
Base: White Oak
Height: 5”
Diameter: 2.5”
This Scandinavian design is by Hand-Christian Bauer who was inspired by the traditional designs of Svend Hammershøi who designed for Royal Copenhagen . Made by Kahler, a Danish company, known for their ceramic collections and highest quality variety of collections.
