Flowerpot Plug-In Lamp
This is the lamp of all lamps, by far. The shape is sweet, the colors are cheery and the function is practical. Celebrated for its timeless appeal, the Flowerpot VP3 (plug-in) adds a touch of elegance and fun to any room.
The &Tradition VP3 table lamp, also known as the Flowerpot VP3, is an iconic design by Danish designer Verner Panton. Originally created in 1968, this lamp embodies the spirit of the Flower Power movement with its playful and modern aesthetic. The lamp features two hemispheres facing each other, creating a distinctive and harmonious shape, with a base made of lacquered metal that complements the overall design. Crafted from spun metal, it has a sleek and durable finish. The lamp is compact, making it suitable for desks, tables, and other small spaces.
Color/Finish notes: All colors have a gloss finish except for the white and black which are noted at a matte finish.

About the designer: Verner Panton started out as a painter before studying architecture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. After an apprenticeship with architect / designer Arne Jacobsen, Panton pursued a path in furniture and interior design, where he became famous for his avant-garde designs. Such as chairs with no legs and a sofa placed vertically against the wall. In the 60’s and 70’s, his passion for designing entire environments led to immersive interiors featuring his hypnotic patterns and futuristic designs for furniture, lighting, wallpapers, posters and rugs. Panton’s pioneering use of materials, colours and shapes earned him a reputation as a visionary.
