Enamel Sieve
This enamel sieve will come in handy for straining veggies or fruit, pasta or beans. Use it for any instance where you want to strain a liquid from the food. The hook on the end allows you to rest it on the edge of the sink acting as an extra hand. The long handle and hole allow it to be hung with other pots and pans or utensils.
Color is a nice crisp white. This sieve matches our ‘enamel saucepan with spout’, ‘enamel measuring cup’ and ‘enamel bucket’.
Volume: .75 liters
Dimensions: 8.3” x 6.2”
Handmade in Austria by Riess, an. Riess uses a 40-step process to make each enameled pot. Iron pots are pressed and stamped, and dipped in porcelain enamel, dried and fired at 850°C to be glass-fused. The result is long lasting, heat resistant up to 450°C, non-reactive, anti-bacterial, cut and scratch resistant. Since Riess’s porcelain enamel is all natural, including the metal oxides used in the dyes, the entire item is metal-recyclable. And to top it off, the company has a carbon neutral factory.
