Brass Ruler
The most used tool in our home is a ruler, retractable tape and soft measuring tape. You get it, we measure things a lot. It’s handy to keep at your desktop to double check measurements of anything you buy - a photo of a product is so hard to tell by a non scaled image. For centering things, making things symmetrical, etc. A measureing tool is used constantly.
This solid brass version can sit out and look pretty waiting between uses. It’s heavy, solid with both imperical and metric measurements. The brass will patina overtime and it has an eyelet for hanging.
